Some customers asked me how can they improve their photos for themselves and for projects like photobooks. While some fellow parents would say "Oh, your kids' portraits are so beautiful, you must have a special camera! but I just have an iPhone,
and its not great".
Well, iPhone IS great. (Samsungs, Huaweis and some others are actually great too) - the lenses and camera apps are fantastic. And it is rather easy to improve your photos, you just have to follow some simple guidelines on photography and editing, and you don't have to be a professional for that.
So, I developed and tested 2 online crash-courses, for iPhone Photography, and Basics of Photo Editing. They are 1 hours each, I will be running them on Friday mornings for small groups, and they are very affordable. You can choose one of them or both. They will cover a basic "starter package" for anyone and with some practice afterwards will improve your photos significanty.
iPhone Photography course will include basics of your phone lens, shooting in different light, basic of composition (rule of thirds, leading lines, subjects, view angle), and usage of the most useful functions in photo and portrait modes
Basics of Photo editing includes some most frequently used functions of Apple native editing app, Snapseed and TouchRetouch - i'll show how to remove unwanted objects, tune the picture, play with perspective, crop and expand pictures, and also some basics on fixing portraits and overall color balance.
Each student after the course will get a manual with some key notes and practice ideas, I will also be available to review their practice work later and give some pointers.
